Detective Ray Leezer said yesterday that county personnel in Metro Narcotics decided collectively to undergo testing. Louisville Police Chief Greg Smith also approved a request by city detectives and commanding officers in Metro Narcotics to be tested for drugs, said Alicia Smiley, a Louisville police spokeswoman. Leezer acknowledged that members are frustrated by recent allegations of misconduct. "In a unit like this it's very important to have confidence in each other. When that confidence appears to be broken or undermined there is frustration," he said. - --- MAP posted-by: Ariel
