METH PENALTIES SHOULD BE HARSHER

I want to know when the court systems are going to start cracking down on
meth users, distributors and manufacturers. I am tired of reading about
these drug pushers getting picked up and then slapped on the wrist and sent
their merry way to push again _ all at the expense of their children.

These meth people should spend at least five years behind bars, 10 if they
endanger the life of a child. If you need more jails, build them.

As a taxpayer, I would much rather pay to confine them then to sit by and
watch them continue to endanger the lives of babies.

By giving them a stiff penalty, you can get them off the street and dry
them out, and hopefully within this time period they can grow up and get
their act together.

Think about the lives of these kids and what is best for them, for a
change, and stop painting these drug addicts as victims. They are not the
victims. Nobody holds a gun to their head forcing them to inject their high
into their veins. They do it because they enjoy it.

Justice is set aside for the innocent, not the guilty. Remember that.
