MONEY TO BE MADE BY MARIJUANA BAN

Re: Prison pot smokers may get a break (May 12). If marijuana sedates
prisoners, reduces their propensity for violence and doesn't impair
cognitive function and perception as alcohol and other drugs do, why
is marijuana use not encouraged?

Other than because lots of people, industries and institutions make a
lot of money from its prohibition.

When you get the answer, please inform your neighbour politicians in
the country south of you.
