What one person considers a fact is not always the truth. Science may have debunked the gateway myth as you put it, but whose government? The Alberta government must not have the same scientists as they support AADAC'S stance. The fact about alcohol being the only drug linked to violent behaviour is simply not true. Look at PCP, crystal meth, and the date rape drug . Also look at all the violence associated with the whole drug trade. I, too, have never heard of anyone overdosing from marijuana, but it does impair drivers just like alcohol or other drugs. Please define "drug warrior" - in my culture a warrior is a very noble person who looks after the interests of the community. If you get your info from pro-drug groups then anything that is not in agreement with your views becomes false and misleading. A society without boundaries creates chaos and violence. I have been been a user of alcohol and many different drugs for 22 years of my life. I have been a drug and alcohol counsellor for the last six years. I thank God that my thinking has changed, because at one time I also thought most drugs, including alcohol were harmless. David Smith Valleyview - --- MAP posted-by: Alex
