DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE FOUND D.A.R.E. INEFFECTIVE

A reader DAREd anyone to dispute that any attempt to stop
children using drugs is a good thing. OK, I bite.

The U.S. Department of Justice determined the DARE program had no
effect on subsequent drug use, except a slightly increased likelihood
of drug use by DARE participants.

Why use DARE, a known to be worthless program, when your community can
spend your hard earned dollars on programs that exist that actually
get kids off drugs? Just to get cops in classrooms to ask them to turn
in their parents?
