OUTLAWED DRUGS ARE POLITICALLY SELECTED

Thanks for publishing an outstanding letter, "Drug laws intended to
control minorities," in this column on Sept. 14.

I'd like to add that our laws criminalizing certain (politically
selected) substances that are designed to go after certain
(politically selected) people. And black people are primarily those
(politically selected) people.
