INTERESTED IN SEEING HOW LIMBAUGH WILL BE TREATED

The revelation that the darling of conservative talk radio (Rush Limbaugh)
has admitted being addicted to drugs is, to be blunt, sweet irony.

While I have empathy for the human being, it's hard to have any for the
"Take no prisoners" radio host. The man who claims to use only half the
brain on loan from God to rhetorically vanquish others has been outed by his
longtime housekeeper, who doubled as his drug connection. That she
approached the authorities with Rush on tape buying and her hard drive with
his e-mails ordering raises the question, does the name Linda Tripp leap to
mind? Will this woman be attacked for her whistle-blowing as Rush detailed
of Tripp?

In the era of vast conservative support for mandatory sentencing, will Rush
be held to the same justice as those who cannot afford it? Will hypocritical
howls of unconditional forgiveness, that it's only personal behavior or it's
a victimless crime ring from the talk radio warriors who decry the
decriminalization of drugs?

Let's see if those who talk the talk can stomach the walk.
