RUSH LIMBAUGH REAPS WHAT HE HAS SOWN

To the Editor:

This is in regards to David Eshelman's Oct. 20 letter, ''Limbaugh not given
fair shake by liberals.''

David is right in the aspect that people with an addiction to prescription
drugs should be treated fairly. An addict's condition is much like any
other disease. They deserve tolerance, support and medical treatment.

On the other hand, Rush had this response coming. To quote the Bible, like
most conservatives love to do, ''Let he who is without sin, cast the first
stone.'' Herein lies the problem.

Rush has been throwing stones for many years - many times, not being very
selective of his targets. Now that we know that he is not without sin, he
needs to retire his stones.

The lambasting from the media is nothing more than his reaping what he has
sown.
