HARD TO HAVE SYMPATHY FOR HYPOCRITE LIMBAUGH

Dear Editor,

I could have some sympathy for Rush Limbaugh if he wasn't such a hypocrite.
He preaches prejudice and hatred as a formula for his obtaining money and
power.

Putting drug users in jail for a long period of time, as he and other
righteous people advocate, is counterproductive. It costs all of us at
least $20,000 per year for each prisoner and usually destroys the person
incarcerated.

A better solution is drug treatment and/or less prison time. The prisoner
will someday be back among us. If you or your children are caught using a
drug, I wonder what your attitude would be? Limbaugh never thought it would
happen to him.
