RUSH IS WELL-INFORMED AND FACTUALLY SOUND

Responding to Mark Fenelon and ''Limbaugh's history of offensive remarks,''
Nov. 3, I offer several points. Mr. Fenelon admits he is not a loyal
listener and only tunes in infrequently. Rush uses hyperbole and humor with
great finesse.

Taking anything out of context and out of the manner said and intended is
very dangerous and totally misleading.

I find Mr. Limbaugh to be well-informed and his opinions to be succinct and
factually sound.

As to his addiction to prescription pain medication, I am profoundly
sympathetic as someone who has had a family member also addicted to these
medications.

And while on this subject, I would like to rhetorically ask why the media
and the Rush-haters are so eager to vilify Rush but more than willing to
ignore and forgive pro ballplayers of their many and frequent brushes with
drugs and the law?

Need I also ask, former presidents of their perjuries?
