Up to a dozen people have been treated in area hospitals in the past month for heavy sweating, vomiting, dizziness and slurred speech after smoking up, cops said. The latest incident happened Wednesday, when 11- and 13-year-old boys became ill after smoking marijuana over their lunch hour. Possession charges were laid against two teens after that case. Both boys are still recovering at McMaster University Medical Centre. DOPE SENT FOR TESTING Police said they've given the dope the two boys were smoking the once over and have found nothing obviously wrong with it, but it has been sent for more thorough testing. They also issued a press release warning the community of "the possible adverse reactions and violent illness associated with this marijuana," and adding that they were "unable to determine where it was purchased or how much is still in circulation." Later Wednesday, Hamilton police raided several homes, seizing $2 million worth of homegrown grass. Four people were charged. - --- MAP posted-by: Keith Brilhart
