USING A PLANT NO REASON TO PUT PEOPLE IN JAIL

Even if it were possible to produce cannabis (marijuana) 1,400 percent
stronger today (Jerome Kellner, Letters, Feb. 1) than in the past, it still
would not be a reason to cage your brother for using it.

But then the idea that cannabis is 1,400 percent stronger today is based on
ignorance just like the discredited laws against cannabis to begin with.

Caging humans for using cannabis is so mean-spirited, dysfunctional and
sinful that it should be asked if cannabis prohibitionists really even
comprehend they're admitting a desire to cage humans for using a plant.
