SNITCHES ARE NOT WELCOME AT CHRISTMAS

Editor:

In regard to "RCMP snuffing out grow-ops," (Sooke News Mirror, Nov. 26):

The Carpenter Road bust coincides with the advent of winter solstice and
Christmas.

My feelings are that this is not the time of year to arouse animosity
between neighbours (snitching).

Locally and globally survival has become iniquitous; no one can say otherwise.

In the new year of 2004 we will have survived 20 years of Orwell's
prophetic 1984. We must admit it is no longer a prophecy; it is a reality.

Straight goods - too many pigs at the trough making less options for
ordinary people.

Think about it.
