POLICE MUST ABANDON GESTAPO TACTICS

In reference to John Rosier's Dec. 5 letter defending the Goose Creek
police, there is a right way and a wrong way to search for drugs and
guns in school buildings. The police don't need to use Gestapo tactics
in front of school children or anyone else. There is enough fear of
the law without adding more. Just like the beating of the man in Ohio,
this does not send a picture of working with the community by the
police department.
