We must open our eyes. Little do we know of what goes on behind closed doors. When we learn of these wrongdoings, it makes us stop and think of what's going on with our police force. Over the years, we have seen these type of allegations involving police department corruption, brutality, entrapments, bribes, sexual misconduct, evidence tampering, illegal searches and seizure cover ups all the time. What has gone wrong? There's a major problem that surely needs to be addressed. This is not to suggest that all police officers are bad. But we have a large number of police officers violating someone's constitutional rights daily. I strongly support the three judges who ruled on the illegal search and seizure by a south Georgia deputy sheriff. I believe that the message sent by those judges of the 11th Circuit Court was to say to each and every police officer, enforce the law correctly and precisely! That message also was that state police officers are not above the law and that they shouldn't abuse their authority. Charles Eldridge, Roberta - --- MAP posted-by: Jackl
