Dee HANDS OFF GRASS! Canadians should tell the United States government to mind their own business with regards to marijuana. The U.S. has no business telling other countries to violate the rule of law to keep marijuana a political crime. For the American courts to put people in jail for political reasons violates due process of law and the United Nation's Declaration of Human rights. To violate fundamental rights due process requires a compelling state interest. The U.S. does not have one because the classification of marijuana as a schedule I drug is arbitrary. Marijuana is safe to use under medical supervision. Michael J. Dee Windham, Maine, USA - --- MAP posted-by: Tom
