He seems bemused, but do you suppose that, just maybe, the relatively lenient judgments given to cannabis offenders simply reflect, I don't know, maybe something as mysterious as the current will of the public? The Liberals love to defend everything they do by claiming a mandate was given by the public, so how do they justify pushing for a harder line against cannabis, when the majority of BC residents want the laws to be liberalized?
