A WASTEFUL RAID ON THE CANNABIS CLUB

The recent raid of Victoria's Cannabis Buyers Club on Johnson Street
is a great example of wasted police time and resources. This facility
exists primarily to supply medical cannabis to people who require it.

I have been pleased with recent city efforts to clean up and
revitalize the downtown core and the difference is noteworthy already.
However I am surprised that with so many other problems for the
Victoria police to deal with, they continue to harass medical cannabis
clubs, and recreational marijuana users in general.

Marijuana use is the least of Victoria's problems as we enter an age
of big city blight. Let's hope our police force expands its mind and
ethics beyond small town and small-minded intolerance to policies of
common sense.

Victoria.
