DRUG WAR A WASTE

The war on drugs is a joke.

The American people have spent $70 billion over the past five years on
the war on drugs, yet our senators and President Bush allow illegal
immigrants to cross our southern border by the hundreds every day.

Some smuggle cocaine and heroin with them. The southern border is
where most drug smugglers cross. If the Drug Enforcement
Administration can't stop them at the border, it should stop wasting
taxpayers' money.

And if the government can't stop the smugglers at the border, how can
it stop terrorists from bringing weapons of mass destruction across
the border?

President Bush and Tom Ridge call this "homeland security."

What a joke.

Tell your senators to seal that border or stop wasting the money on
the war on drugs.

The DEA puts the American people in jail, yet the illegal drug
smugglers go free. How fair is that?
