THE DRUG WAR CANNOT BE WON

The Drug War Cannot Be Won. It Can Only Be Managed.

America spends more money on prisons to house non-violent, working,
taxpaying people than it does on colleges. This is not a good investment
for Americans.

The drug war is only a tool for racial disparity, since it puts more
minorities behind bars, though most drug users are white.

The U.S. will become like the U.S.S.R.; it will probably become bankrupt in
the future. The entire hidden cost of America's drug war is billions of
dollars each year in government funding.

Jails overflow with non-violent drug offenders. Have we reached the point
where the drug war causes more harm than the drugs themselves? Remember,
the rich keeps the profits the middle class and the poor that pays the U.S.
debt. To win a drug war it has to be fought as a medical problem not a law
enforcement or military problem.
