PARENTAL RESPONSIBILITY

RE CHANGING our pot laws: What ever happened to parental responsibility and
supervision of their kids? Just this morning, I explained to my 13-year-old
daughter the pitfalls of toking and drinking. I asked her to promise she
won't experiment with these until at least university and that if she ever
feels she must, to talk to me first. The fact it is illegal is what makes
it cool and worth trying. No matter which direction the law goes, it is
still up to parents to talk to their kids about it and, according to the
polls, most of us parents today can talk from our own experiences. Our
parents didn't have a clue about pot.
