DECRIMINALIZATION WILL NOT BE THE DOWNFALL OF OUR SOCIETY

It is nice to see the beginning of a national effort to reduce organized
crime -- that being the decriminalization of possessing marijuana. This
first step will not, as some will surely be screaming, be the downfall of
our society, cause children to become addicted to heroin, and ruin lives.
As most organized crime is fueled by drug profits, complete
decriminalization, and cheap sale by licensed dealers, would cut off the
flow of cash to the hands of those who do our society harm. My first
applause ever for our federal government came with the news of the first step.

(Decriminalization doesn't mean pot becomes legal, Luke.)
