JUST SETTLE DOWN

THESE letters pages have well and truly been hijacked by "the sky's
going to fall on my head" crowd over the proposed new cannabis laws.

B. Halligan (23/5) likens smoking cannabis to rape and murder. I would
like to remind these people that cannabis will still be illegal. They
should pour themselves a glass of wine, pull out another cigarette and
sit in their most comfortable chairs and ponder more important issues
like violent crimes, paedophilia, corporate crime and the absurd rises
in taxes every year.
