STRONGER POT

IN "Ottawa plans to stir up pot strategy," (May 27) Ontario Attorney General
Norm Sterling is critical of proposed changes to marijuana law. He says:
"The intoxicating chemical in pot (THC) is up to 30 times stronger today
than two decades ago." The U.S. DEA website tells us the average THC in
seized pot from the early '80s was about 3-4%. If Sterling knows where I can
find pot in Canada today that is 30 times that strength -- meaning 90-120%,
I'd appreciate a phone call.
