In the U.S., possession of any amount of marijuana can have legal consequences. About $2.5 billion of marijuana is smuggled into the U.S. from Canada every year. I believe that the relaxation of marijuana rules in Canada will affect the amount of marijuana smuggled into the U. S. In some states in the U.S., it is legal to smoke marijuana because of health problems. Marijuana is a drug that isn't as dangerous as other drugs that are sold, like cigarettes and alcohol.
