DRUG-TEST ALL GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES, TOO

The trend toward zero-tolerance policies for alcohol and other drug abuse
is on the rise. Mandatory drug testing of students involved in
extracurricular activities, pre-employment/random drug testing of employees
by corporations, and scarlet-letter plates for DUI offenders are a few of
the examples. President Bush supports mandatory drug testing of all
students regardless of participation in any after-school activities.

I suggest a need for mandatory drug testing of all public employees. That
means every local, state and federal representative, including the
president, must submit to testing. Those advocating such strict policies
surely have nothing to hide. Anyone objecting should provide a written
statement to their constituents as to why they should not be tested.
