SAUNDERS RIGHT ON

I'm writing about Debra Saunders outstanding column: "With little
chance of pardon, Aaron sentence is barbaric' (Dec. 26).

Clarence Aaron, who did nothing more than introduce two people who
happened to sell the wrong (politically selected) drugs, is serving a
life sentence without the possibility of parole.

That's the same sentence as the man from Washington state who killed
48 women by strangling them to death; the same sentence as someone who
kidnaps a young child from her home, rapes that child, tortures and
then kills that child.

Our war on certain politically selected drugs has turned the word
"justice' into an empty word on monuments and currency and a word
mouthed by hypocritical politicians.

George W. Bush will not pardon Clarence Aaron because there is no
political gain in doing so.

George W. Bush is not a compassionate man, but rather an evil, wicked
and cruel man.
