THE BUTCHER CAN'T FIX YOUR CAR

THE EDITOR:

Re: 'White may be on to something,' Times Editorial, Jan. 9.

Randy White might be on to something? Say what?

White makes a claim he has called for a prison enquiry for eight years.

Well there have been prisons and crime around for a touch longer than eight
years and most problems have no magic serum.

It is easy to look over and criticize a system that is beyond the
comprehension of one who is only a mouthpiece and has never worked the
inside of the fence or the big house.

It is right to you say "you are only guessing" and therefore have no right
to form or write concrete opinions.

There is more to keep the motor of justice going than just turning a key.

That kind of behaviour with booze and drugs is obviously not allowed, but
that stuff happens, as it does every day on the street, and that is how the
inmates get there.

White is again blowing in the wind and prison beckons for his experience.

You don't ask the butcher to fix your car do you ?
