CANADA: MARIJUANA POLICY

Prime Minister Paul Martin reaffirmed the government's intention to
decriminalize the possession of small amounts of marijuana when
Parliament resumes in the fall. His pledge came as a government report
said marijuana use in Canada had nearly doubled in 13 years.
