Like Canada's incarceration of Canadians of Japanese descent and Hitler's policies towards the Jews, drug prohibition is a crime against humanity. Further, any editor who publishes a description of these events that excludes any mention of the fact that many (like me) oppose the law being enforced is surely indicating approval of that heinous law. What to do? Why not append a statement like this to your drug stories where appropriate? "Many feel that drug prohibition (1) is illogical because other harmful drugs are allowed, (2) is an abuse of the right of free adults to ingest any drug, (3) causes more harm because of adulterated drugs and crime than the drugs themselves, or (4) is ineffective and a waste of law enforcement resources because human beings will always want drugs."
