CITY'S DRUG PROBLEM IS NO JOKE

The Editor,

Interesting article. Interesting perspectives from people who make
decisions for the next generations. I've not seen the movie, nor does
it sound like I would have the stomach to. However, sometimes it's the
least expected person who has the courage to stand up and take a stand.

What has the school board and the provincial government done lately to
help the war on drugs in schools? As I recall, there wasn't a poster
in sight regarding the dangers of drugs, to take down at my kid's high
school.

Look at this young guy's intent.

It's not too late for Surrey's next generation and Marko is trying to
do something about it. As Penny Priddy says, she "applauds anyone who
cares about the health and safety of future generations."

Check out the former students down at the Front Room in Whalley and
see how the school board and provincial government's ideas have worked
for us so far.
