THE REAL SOURCE OF HELLS ANGELS MONEY

Re: "Boycott bikers, police chief says," Aug. 22.

We have been advised not to buy T-shirts from the Hells Angels. This
is not going to hurt their bottom line at all.

I am told they make their money from drugs and prostitution. The way
to get rid of the Hells Angels as we know them is to cut off their
money supply.

We need only do two things to accomplish this.

Legalize drugs and let the government regulate and distribute the more
destructive of them, and institute a universal guaranteed adequate
income plan.

Drugs are a money maker only because of the prohibition against them
and most sex trade workers begin because of lack of money.

These measures are so simple and cost effective, I am surprised they
have not been done already. What is the holdup?
