Author: LaNelle E. Alsip NOT ENOUGH Crime does pay! An ex-coach pleads guilty to drug charges and the judge and the district attorney decide to slap a drug dealer on the wrist ("Ex-coach pleads guilty to drug charges," Aug. 28). Then the only punishment is to do community service and pay a few fines. Where is the justice? Perhaps when his wife goes to trial in October, the punishment will be more severe. I also read that some of the charges were dismissed. Will this let him go to another state and start teaching and coaching again? This is a shame and a disgrace to the taxpayers. The district attorney and the judge should be thrown out of their office. I urge Surry County citizens to remember in November. LaNELLE E. ALSIP Siloam - --- MAP posted-by: Josh
