CANADIANS SMOKE POT ON A REGULAR BASIS

So, Chief Fantino thinks that legalizing pot is the same as legalizing
murder? ("Fantino thinks legal pot stinks", Oct. 20). He also thinks
that legalization of pot will not cut down on organized crime's
involvement with grow ops. I don't know what planet he lives on, but
now I'm sure it's time for a new, progressive police chief -- not
someone who is locked into the 'reefer madness' mentality of the '60s.

Millions of Canadians smoke pot on a regular basis. Regulate it, tax
it, earn billions in revenue, spend money on health, education,
military or infrastructure. Simple. Duh!

(Fantino's right about pot and organized crime, but his murder remark
was just wrong)
