("Fantino thinks legal pot stinks", Oct. 20). He also thinks that legalization of pot will not cut down on organized crime's involvement with grow ops. I don't know what planet he lives on, but now I'm sure it's time for a new, progressive police chief -- not someone who is locked into the 'reefer madness' mentality of the '60s. Millions of Canadians smoke pot on a regular basis. Regulate it, tax it, earn billions in revenue, spend money on health, education, military or infrastructure. Simple. Duh!
