("Enormous dope operation discovered," Nov. 4): I am sure it is just a drop in the bucket. Prohibition has turned a plant into gold. Marijuana, if legalized, would take a huge bite out of organized crime. Why would legalizing marijuana differ from legalizing alcohol? Why do we not use some intelligence -- quit this futile game and legalize it? Prohibition finances organized crime. The facts cannot be ignored. R. H.
