Wheeler SOME DRUG LAWS MAKE NO SENSE What are the odds that a drug be legal which comes from smoking the leaf of a plant, that is proven to be mentally and physically addictive and hazardous to you health and even possibly cause death? What are the odds that a drug be legal which comes from smoking the leaf of a plant that is proven to be mentally addictive and has no direct link to any death due to health problems? Well, the first option is legal with no prescription even though it's the deadlier of the two. The second one is illegal in any circumstances. Why is the first one (tobacco) legal and the second one (marijuana) not? Shouldn't the less harmful and least deadly be legal and if not, shouldn't they both be illegal? Or could it be that drug manufacturers profit from illness and weaker health produced by the first option, but would suffer profit losses due to the second option's ability to help control pain? Just a question to ponder. R.G. WHEELER St. Petersburg - --- MAP posted-by: SHeath(DPFFLorida)
