U.S. DRUG TRAFFICKERS

In reading the Nov. 23 article, "Bush vows U.S. help against drug
traffickers," two statements got my attention.First, Bush saying "that drug
traffickers send their addictive and deadly products to the United States."
At the same time, his administration supports the tobacco companies sending
their addictive and deadly products throughout the world. This is the
height of hypocrisy.

Bush also promises to give more aid to fight drug traffickers and
guerrillas. If Bush is so concerned about drugs coming from Colombia, why
isn't he doing more to stop the large amounts of drugs coming from Afghanistan?

Most people around the world see Bush's foreign policy for what it is,
dishonest and dangerous. Too bad more people in this country didn't care
more to learn the truth.
