These people are well aware of what they do and why. Most of the time, it is strictly by choice. I am happy these men and women are where they belong. At least for the time being, I can feel a little more at ease in knowing that I can walk with my children in the community, even though the criminal activities still go on. At least there are fewer johns cruising around looking for cheap sex and drugs. There are thousands of people in poverty -- bottle pickers, homeless, alcoholics, etc. These people do not go and sell their bodies to pay rent or to buy groceries, food or drugs. I have heard enough about the poor prostitutes and the bleeding hearts who feel sorry for them. The time is now to begin making changes for a better future.
