Romares Bookmark: http://www.mapinc.org/pot.htm (Cannabis) MOTORCYCLE DRIVER KILLED VIGILANTE-STYLE ANOTHER man was killed vigilante-style along Mahogany Alley in Barangay 8-A, Davao City, Saturday night. The latest and the 96th victim killed by unidentified suspects since January this year was identified as Jose Apollo Panal, 34, habal-habal driver, and resident of Exodus in Bangkerohan, Barangay 8-A. Initial investigation conducted by SPO4 Helson Benian of the San Pedro Police Precinct said that Panal was walking along Mahogany Alley at around 10 p.m. when an unidentified man appeared and shot him several times. Panal, who succumbed to gunshot wounds in the head, died instantly, while the suspect rushed off and boarded a waiting motorcycle. Police recovered three empty shells of caliber 45 pistol at the scene of crime. The cadaver of the victim was brought to Angel funeral Homes. The San Pedro police are conducting further investigation to know the background of the victim. On Thursday, John Rey Reducto, 17, trisikad driver, of Pag-asa, Kilometer 5 in Buhangin, was gunned down by unidentified suspect while on his way home at around 12:45 p.m. Police recovered suspected dried marijuana leaves inside the victim's wallet, although the victim's mother refused to believe that her son was into drugs. - ---
