LIMBAUGH NEEDS TREATMENT, NOT PRIVACY INVASIONS

It is very likely that Rush Limbaugh did indeed "doctor shop" in the
throes of his addiction to narcotics. That's what addicts do. There
are few lengths to which addicts will not go to assure a steady
supply, and getting a "legal" prescription from a physician is
definitely the preferred method.

The question in my mind is this: How far are we willing to go to
prosecute and possibly jail such a person? The thought that our
private medical records can at any time be open to authoritative
scrutiny is truly frightening.

Addicts need treatment, not prosecution and jail time.

Enough already! Leave Limbaugh's medical records alone and wish him
luck as he tries to recover from a chronic and life-threatening illness.
