DRUG TESTS UNFAIR

I believe that the drug-testing policy in the Lynchburg City School system
is very unfair. It is supposed to be the policy that everyone involved in
an extracurricular activity must be drug tested and must be free of any
illegal drugs. Why is it that only the major sport athletes are tested?
Doesn't the marching band call itself a sport? Why aren't they tested and
why isn't drama tested?

I am neither against nor for drug testing in public schools, but I do think
it is unfair to test some groups and not others. The city school system is
one of two school systems in the state that makes drug testing mandatory
for athletes, or should I say some of its athletes. Either make everyone do
it or don't make anyone do it.
