SPARTANS WOULD SCORN WORKPLACE DRUG TESTS

Editor, Times-Dispatch: I saw a program about the ancient civilization
of Sparta on the History Channel recently. Near the end of the program
one of the historians said, "Sparta showed that men must have honor for
their society to survive. Men can live without honor because the body
only needs sustenance, but men cannot die without honor."
Where is the honor in a society that requires its people to prove
repeatedly their worthiness for employment by urinating in bottles?
