MARIJUANA LAWS CLAIM ANOTHER VICTIM

The writer is S.C. chapter director, Help Eliminate Marijuana
Prohibition (HEMP). In response to "UNC rescinds scholarship offer to
Curry" (April 8):

Another young man's life ruined by that weed. This one happens to be
North Carolina's all-time leading scorer in high school basketball.

JamesOn Curry is a victim of idiotic laws that benefit only those who
enforce them and those who use them to keep hemp out of the
marketplace.

Now is the time to legalize the use, cultivation and sale of
marijuana, a natural resource God put here to benefit mankind.
