CANNABIS AND DRIVING

Chris Fowlie, of the National Organisation for the Reform of Marijuana
Laws, is upset at the proposed drug testing for drivers. He was quoted
as saying that people concentrated more on their driving when stoned
and were much less likely to take risks when driving. That is nonsense.

Marijuana, like any other mind and perception-altering drug, only
makes you think you are better at doing things. If this wasn't the
case perhaps it should be mandatory that all airline pilots, bus
drivers, truck drivers and so on be stoned to concentrate better.
