National Capital Region Police Office director Ricardo de Leon said the filing of administrative and criminal charges against SPO4 Edgardo Reburiano and PO2 Romeo DL Paday should serve as a stern warning as he reiterated the NCRPO's commitment to eradicate "bad eggs" in the police force. "This must never happen again. The NCRPO must remain a disciplined and principled force in order to effectively uphold our sworn duty to serve and protect," he said. This developed as the Metro police chief ordered CPD officer-in `charge Senior Supt. Oscar Marinas to conduct a deeper probe of the escape of Narciso Prado who was facing charges of violation of RA 9165. Reburiano was the deputy chief of the station's anti-illegal drug special operation task force while Paday was the duty officer when the incident occurred. The escape was discovered during a head count last June 3. - --- MAP posted-by: Jo-D
