1-B FOR ANTI-DRUG PROJECT

THE Dangerous Drugs Board yesterday launched a radio program dubbed "Handog 
na Pag-asa" to address the alarming problem of drug addiction.

The program is being supported by the National Press Club, Radyo ng Bayan 
and the Seagulls Flight Foundation Inc. headed by Ed Castillo.

President Macapagal-Arroyo earlier earmarked P1 billion for the 
construction of additional rehabilitation centers in different parts of the 
country to lessen, if not totally eradicate, drug addiction.
