SEMANTIC DOUBLE TALK

I notice that the "war on terror" has semantically morphed into "the global 
struggle against violent extremism."

Perhaps the nation's failed and decades-old "war on drugs" should be 
likewise relabeled "the global struggle to repeal the law of supply and 
demand."
