There's a clear distinction between stupid scribbles and art and political messages. "Free Marc Emery," as tagged on MP Walt Lastewka's office, demonstrates the gravity of the current political crisis. Emery's arrest has a direct connection to the United States meddling in the creation of a sensible drug policy Canadians want. Many medical marijuana patients claim Emery saved their lives. Between 2000 and 2003, Health Canada recommended licensed medical users purchase their marijuana seeds via the Internet. Licence holders didn't have to because Emery gave non-viable seeds to those who were in need. To stop the tagging problem local politicians should consider a bylaw banning the sale of paint to anybody under 30. Prohibition, apparently, is any excellent method of solving any social problem. I've only tagged once, when I was two. My grandma still has the pictures of the result of markers on her walls. Matt Mernagh, St. Catharines - --- MAP posted-by: Josh
