METH IS PITTED AGAINST THE COMMUNITY

To make cold medications a prescription item, with the time and expense
that entails, penalizes law-abiding citizens and puts their children at
risk during months of inclement weather. Many such persons, especially
parents, likely strive to keep their neighborhoods free of kitchen meth
labs and street sales of drugs. They should not be inconvenienced by
sweeping mandates from state legislators who have no shortage of other
pressing issues to address.
