TWELVE-YEAR-OLD AT LOCAL SCHOOL WITH MARIJUANA

A 12-year old young person was arrested Monday afternoon, Oct. 24,
after the youth showed up at a centrally located elementary school
with drugs on them. It is alleged that the youth showed several
students the narcotic and then threatened to harm any other students
if they told on the youth. It is alleged that the youth had 10 grams
of cannabis resin marijuana approximately 17 grams of marijuana and
some money on them. The estimated street value of the drugs is $500.
The youth has been charged with one count of possession of a
controlled drug or substance, one count of possession for the purpose
of trafficking in a controlled drug or substance and one count of
threatening to cause death or bodily harm. The youth was scheduled to
appear in court on Tuesday, Nov. 29.
